The 4 Pillars Of A Healthy Diet

Yesterday morning, shortly after waking up, I had breakfast: 2 hard-boiled eggs; a bowl of organic oats mixed with raw honey, cinnamon, and a half a cup of berries; and a big cup of organic, black coffee.

Mid-morning I had a handful of mixed, raw nuts and an apple.

For lunch I had a half a cup of black beans on a bed of Jasmine rice; steamed broccoli; half an avocado; and 1 cup of bone broth.

My dinner consisted of 6 ounces of grass-fed ground beef; a sweet potato; and kale (sautéed in ghee).

Eat Dinner Like A King

One of the biggest dietary myths floating around out there is that you should eat as soon as you wake up, and consume most of your calories in the morning and early afternoon.

Anyone that has ever tried this, however, will tell you that about an hour after eating their chicken breast and steamed broccoli for dinner, they soon find themselves raiding the freezer for that half pint of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked that they were supposedly saving for “Game of Thrones” on Sunday. #CheatDay
